If you are looking for good Mexican food around North Vancouver, this is an excellent option.

Willing to bet this is the best Mexican food in the city - Caldo tlalpeño is my absolute favorite soup ever.. EVER. All the ingredients fresh as heck and the rice and beans are perfect. Prove me wrong.

Super tasty mexican food and one of the few places with vegetarian tamales I've seen in Vancouver. Very kind service and fresh ingredients. Generous plates!

Awesome to go place for mexican treats. Their taco salad, nachos are totally made fresh. Love their separately sold salsa’s n chips.

Amazing Mexican food. Had the chimichangas chicken was tender and flavour full. Huge portion. Tasted just like Mexico if not better. Highly recommended.

Took an eternity to receive my veggie tortilla wrap, my wife was done eating by then. When I did get it, the wrap was cold in some spots and barely warm in others, and tasted a little funny. Ended up trashing about half of it.

Meet the Monster. I call him Javier. I always get a smile out of the guys/gals making it after seeing my excitement. I seriously recommend this place for dine in or if you need supplies/ingredients to bring home. The taste is there so no need to worry about the “microwave bashers”. They obviously don’t know that most places use them but C&J is out in the open so when they do see it, they get upset. Love this place!

This place is normally awesome, but today when we ordered the portions were significantly smaller than usual. I hope this was a one time thing otherwise I will not be ordering from there again

They serve Tamale but it is frozen and they microwave it. Frozen tamales are not good, don’t waste your money. Though there Guacamole was good, so three star.

If I could rate this place less than one star I would. Not only was the food poorly made, it was purely unappetizing. I was looking forward to having a delicious lunch but when I received my order it was far from my expectations. When I opened it, it was nothing but a disgusting, sloppy mess. I couldnt even tell what I ordered from looking at it. The poor quality of ingredients was masked by a massive amount of sauce making it inedible. To make matters even worse, nothing was done to correct the problem. Apparently a no refund policy is in effect here. What happened to customer service? A zero refund policy at a place that serves food is rediculous. How this place continues to stay in business serving food like this and treating customers with no respect is beyond me. No one should have to pay for food that they would not eat. Definitely my first and last time coming here.

Good Mexican is hard to find in North Vancouver. This is good Mexican. It's kind of a fast food style so keep that in mind. The only big improvement I'd ask for is a few more tortilla chips included with the meal.

I found a hair in my burrito and asked them to make another one. After 10 minutes, I asked them whether my dish was ready, and apparently they hadn't even started making the burrito, and asked me whether I want to same thing or something else!!!! And at the same time, they were making fun of me in their native language right in front of me!!!!Aside from the whole ordeal, the chicken was not fresh and the beans tasted bland! Go somewhere else if you want to have a decent Mexican food!

I come all the way here from BBY ... through either skytrain and then seabus or through Iron workers bridge traffic... just to get my tortilla, homemade salsa and guacamole fix. Always super fresh and perfectly seasoned. I don't always get the best service (bought $25 worth of salsa, guac and chips only to stand there after I paid with no offer of a bag to carry my stuff home or a thank yoy) but don't care. It's worth it.

This was by far the most disgusting food experience of my life. I’m still shocked at what I witnessed before receiving my food. This place freezes their burritos for god knows how long and then microwaves them. It was served over cold rice, tomato sauce and guacamole, none of which were fresh. I ate about 1/4 of it before I noticed it getting stone cold near the centre, I also found not 1 but a clump of hairs in it. I am tempted to investigate further and possibly have this establishment shut down for health violations. If you are reading this review I urge you not to eat here, you would be better off eating dog food. One star is extremely generous, unfortunately I do not have the option to give 0.

I do not like this place. Every time I ate there, I have never liked their food. Everything is flavourless and/or filled with cilantro, which I really hate. The guacamole doesn't taste like guacamole, refried beans are too salty, and the chimichangas had too much sauce on it. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Ordered nachos. A young girl prepared it and tossed it into the microwave. When the microwave stopped, I continued to wait because the girl was singing and dancing. I flagged her down to tell her my nachos are done. She gives me a dirty look and continued to do her thing. I looked at a woman who was also waiting for her food and we both shook our heads. The service was more memorable than the food. Horrible service. Mediocre food. Even cineplex nachoas tasted fresher.

Hi, I went during my break and got a wrap burrito . They overflowed it with purple burrito sauce . About 80/20 ratio of sauce Vs toppings. Im not embellishing.. I called nicely and asked if they do refunds. She said "no we don't" . I was close so I calmly gave it back with no refund. I'm not telling people not to go here. I'm saying this was by far the worse Mexican food experience I had ever.
